Begun when the author was only eighteen, and conceived from a nightmare, Frankenstein is the deeply disturbing story of a monstrous creation which has terrified readers since its first publication in 1818. The novel has seared its way into the popular imagination, and established itself as one of the pioneering works of modern science fiction.

Mary Shelley was an English novelist, short story writer, dramatist, essayist, biographer, and travel writer. In between his day job as one half of the prolific Amazing 15 Studios and raising his two children, Martin Stiff has found time to carve out this timeless and chilling period mystery in graphic novel form.

Penny Dreadful is a John Logan / Sam Mendes-produced horror drama set in Victorian London and features characters such as Frankenstein and Dracula. It stars Josh Hartnett, Eva Green and Timothy Dalton. It's all shot in London and some of the legendary characters who appear give this concept great potential to run as an ongoing series. It's a fresh piece of drama and the quality of the trailer and rushes look terrific. It's beautifully shot, with strong performances and it will be a major series for Fox.
