Snyder has managed to create an enticing world within the Study series, one that I often find myself wanting to engage in again and again. The characters are original in their personalities and the relationships Snyder creates with the reader and the characters is one that I believe isn't rivalled by many. Her writing manages to paint a delicate, yet sometimes chaotic in the climactic moments, artwork that remains with you even after you've finished reading the third instalment of the series. While the Opal Cowan books also manage to be as intriguing and well received as the Study series, I find myself much more compelled to read when Yelena and Valek are involved more frequently. The only thing I could ask for is that I didn't have to wait so long for her next book.
