A wealth of information!

After attending the Wild Food - Wild Medicine course at Bushlore Australia I started looking in to some of the books that were referenced. This book was one of them. An absolute gem. The book includes a lot of information about the use of plants and trees but the best is the way the book is structured. The glossary and appendix allows you to search on plant but also on plant-use, being food, non-food, medicinal which is then further refined into sub-categories. This makes it extremely easy to find a particular plant depending on the use you are after. Unfortunately as the author mentions a lot of knowledge has been lost over the years, but they have done a great job to prevent further loss of knowledge.

Excellent Australian native plant guide

Excellent native plant food, survival guide, useful plants, clear pictures, easy to read.

Great info and great design

A great reference on useful plants of the east coast of Australia, sensibly arranged by habitat of plants. All the information you need is in one place in this book.
