Mirror, mirror on the wall,

Who is the fairest of them all?

Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her "glamour" to gain power. But long before she crossed paths with Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, Levana lived a very different story - a story that has never been told . . . until now.

Marissa Meyer spins yet another unforgettable tale about love and war, deceit and death. This extraordinary book includes full-color art and an excerpt from Winter, the next book in the Lunar Chronicles series.

About the Author

Marissa Meyer's first and second books in the Lunar Chronicles series, Cinder and Scarlet, both debuted on the New York Times bestseller list. She lives in Tacoma, Washington, with her husband and their three cats.

What an interesting book.

This book is an amazing [and very dark] addition to The Lunar Chronicles and I'm so glad we got to see Levana's past in detail [instead of just bits and pieces of it jammed into one of the main four books]. This REALLY needed it's own book. Not only did it give Levana some much needed backstory, but it also set up Winter very, very well. This also had a lot of world building for Luna and lunar politics and society. Again, something that was desperately needed in this series [plenty has been said about Earth, but not so much about Luna tbh]. It should make the last book flow a lot better because we can get right into the story without having to explain so much about the Lunar people. This was definitely one of my favourite books of the series and I absolutely adored Evret, Solstice, and Winter.
