I'm always attracted to titles that include "the secrets of very healthy/smart/rich (or whatever) people! I like information that has been sourced, digested and assimilated by passionate writers of a subject. This book satisfied my hunger for succinct information. The author has a totally fresh take on the well worn and confusing topics of nutrition and exercise. It really cuts to the chase. It's myth busting; helpful; clear & easy to read and I feel empowered as a result of reading this book. I now base my decisions about what I eat on whether it is healthy (re-defined as a result of this book!) rather than calories /carbs/protein/ fat/sugar/a red tick or the latest fad jargon designed to make the manufacturer rich and the consumer confused! My exercise routine has been simplified and made more efficient as a result of the latest exercise science presented in this book - just choose to move rather than not, and if here's how to be efficient about it! It's a breath of fresh air, by-passing all the diet dogma and food "politics". I feel less stressed and confused and I'm not procrastinating or underestimating the value of simple lifestyle changes. Great for all the couch potatoes or yo-yo dieters out there (like me)who need a bit of new inspiration!
