Written by a professional dog trainer who has many years of experience in this field and is a Kennel Control Council instructor and judge, this book attempts to provide an effective yet gentle guide to dog training. It presents what is described as a Tunique Australian method' of dog training in a logical and coherent manner. Contains many photographs and diagrams.
I recommend this to anyone wanting a well behaved dog.
I first encountered this dog training method nearly 20 years ago. I wanted to train a puppy but did not like the traditional "Choker Chain" that was, and still is, in common usage. I found my puppy responded well to "The Gentle Modern Method". She learnt very quickly.
Over the years I have given copies of this book to friends who are wanting to train a dog. In a few weeks I will be getting a new puppy. I have bought a new copy as some years ago I had given my copy to a young boy down the street that had been given a puppy.
