Directions for Daddy is a light hearted "instruction booklet" for first time fathers and shines a humorous light on many of the unique aspects of fatherhood from a father's point of view. This book is meant to be different than a normal parenting book by giving new fathers a glimpse into the author's experience with his three children over the past seven years. And in doing so, hopefully this book will explain what the other parenting books do not. For example, most parenting books talk about the proper way to toilet train your child, while Directions for Daddy talks about the best way to avoid getting peed on. Most parenting books talk about how to properly feed a newborn, while this book extols the advantages of breast feeding which allows the father to sleep more. Truly, no new father or soon-to-be father could better prepare himself for the adventure known as fatherhood than by reading this book.
