About the Author
Mark A. Garlick is a freelance illustrator and author with a strong scientific background. He has a Bachelor's degree in astronomy from University College London (UCL) and a PhD in astrophysics from the Mullard Space Science Laboratory in the UK. Garlick has written five books to date, and illustrated many more. His illustrations cover a broad range of subjects, from Earth's natural history to space technology, surrealism and science fiction.
