Gemma is a nationally certified lead teacher, working as a senior biology teacher at a Brisbane school. With over 16 years’ experience teaching senior sciences in the UK and Australia, she also has a tertiary background in Ecology and a Masters of Science in Biodiversity and Conservation. She has also completed an Education Doctorate (EdD) specialising in scientific literacy.

About the Author

Dr Brodie Reid teaches secondary science and Year 11 and 12 ATAR Chemistry. He also has many years of experience teaching at the tertiary level and is an author of over ten academic publications.
