Best mates and vets Ant and James are a bit older and wiser now, and have taken the big step of going into practice together - opening a busy clinic in Berry, in country New South Wales. But they haven't lost their larrikin senses of humour, their huge love of what they do, and their keen eye for a yarn. Highly entertaining, humorous and heart-warming, these stories of life behind the scenes in a country practice will touch your heart as well as tickle your funny-bone. You'll be hooked till the very last page.

Industry Reviews
'This is a wonderful memoir of the boys' beginnings and travels to the current day, the only fault I can find is that it was over so very quickly. There are some hilarious moments in a vet's life that you would normally never hear about, let alone believe, but this book has been written with such frankness and honesty you just laugh harder when you come across some of their more "normal" moments.' - Carol Doncaster East

'Oh my goodness! What a wonderful book, I was so sorry when I came to the end, I just didn't want it to end.' - Kaye, Pennington SA
