Annalee Tanaka's life is almost perfect. A promising career as a nurse, dating the man of her dreams, and finally exploring the faith she abandoned after a terrible loss.
But when she wakes in pitch darkness, her body aching in ways she can't understand, her life in Perth seems far away and nothing is as it should be.
Eventually permitted outside her gilded prison, Annalee discovers a lush tropical jungle, but cameras watch her every move and electronic punishment awaits any attempt to escape.
It's like a twisted version of Eden, with a faceless evil serpent in control. Can she survive? Can she outwit the enemy on her own?
Or is there one ready to help if she would only reach out...
