Dacher Keltner expands upon his post-graduate work with Paul Ekman, the pioneer in the study of facial expressions, and Charles Darwin's descriptions of emotional expressions-a raised eyebrow or a slight blush, for example-to investigate why humanity has evolved positive emotions.
