\nTickets for the 2017 Melbourne Writers Festival <\/a>are now on sale!<\/p>\n

Running from 25 August to 3 September 2017, the festival will explore the theme of revolutions past, present and future. \u201cLiterature has always been a platform for revolutionary ideas and a way to escape the politics of despair,\u201d says Festival Director Lisa Dempster. \u201cMelbourne Writers Festival will explore the darkness of discrimination, oppression and war, but the program is threaded through with hope. We\u2019re listening to voices too long shut out, searching for the ideas that can bring us out of dark places and into the light.”<\/p>\n
