Friday 26 August to Sunday 4 September will see writers, readers and literature lovers join for the 2016 Melbourne Writers Festival<\/a> (MWF).<\/p>\n

If you haven’t booked your events yet, you can still choose from over 300 to attend<\/a>. Walk through a Roald Dahl exhibition, meet the Miles Franklin Literary Award winner, or listen to Justin Cronin chat about his bestselling dystopian vampire trilogy, The Passage.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Whilst the MWF is a fantastic place to see all your favourite big-name writers and thinkers, did you know that it’s also a great place to discover new literary voices?<\/p>\n

The free New Australian Fiction<\/a><\/strong> event is where you can meet some of these Australian rising literary stars, including Jennifer Down<\/a>, Kate Mildenhall <\/a>and Rajith Savanadasa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But it doesn’t stop there! Writers from around the globe are scheduled to appear, including political journalist George Packer, Anjum Hasan, Goenawan Mohamad and plenty more!
