You might recall a few years ago there was a movie called, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones? Then again, you may not remember. Not a whole lot of people saw the movie which, while embraced by a loyal cult following, was not exactly what you would call a great cinematic triumph.

In the wake of the movie, rumours of a sequel spluttered and slowly died away. This is great news for fans who will not have to wait to watch the show. Each episode will be available all over the world less than 24 hours after it airs in the US.

Finally, this is a case of perfect timing as Cassandra Clare’s latest book, Lady Midnight, is coming out at the beginning of March.
