And the political cynicism of the people who run the unjust society she lives in (and of some of the people who are seeking to change it too) is positively chilling. The Matched series<\/h2>\n<p><strong>by Ally Condie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(<em><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.booktopia.com.au\/matched\/prod9780141334783.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Matched<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.booktopia.com.au\/crossed\/prod9780141340104.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Crossed<\/em><\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>I think what I enjoyed most about these books is following Cassia on her journey \u2013 the way in which she begins to question Society, and the small rebellions that turn into much bigger ones. I really loved how the certainty and safety of a regimented world begins to unravel around her, exposing the ugliness that lies beneath the surface, the price being paid for a \u2018perfect\u2019 Society.
