The 2021 NSW Premier’s Literary Award winners were announced last night, with poet Ellen Van Neerven scooping up three prizes for their poetry collection Throat<\/em>. Van Neerven received the $10,000 book of the year award, along with the $30,000 Kenneth Slessor Prize for Poetry and the $20,000 Multicultural NSW Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NSW Premier\u2019s Literary Awards are an initiative of the NSW Government, run by the State Library in association with Create NSW and with the support of Multicultural NSW and the University of Technology Sydney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
