The contenders for the second annual $5,000 Favourite Australian Book (FAB) Award have been unveiled! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

127 books made the shortlist, which was chosen by Booktopia staff members – and what tough choices we had to make! 2020 was a year like no other, and the quality of the books that were published was truly special. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what book captured the hearts and minds of Australians in 2020? You tell us! We’ve chosen the shortlist, now you tell us which book you want to win by voting here: https:\/\/www.booktopia.com.au\/FAB-award<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, the winning book was 488 Rules for Life<\/em> by Kitty Flanagan, which came out on top after 10,000 people cast a combined 50,000 votes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s longlist of contenders include Trent Dalton, Craig Silvey, Jane Harper, Julia Baird, Richard Flanagan and Dervla McTiernan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
