When is Bridgerton Season 3 being released?
Bridgerton fans have been eagerly awaiting news about Season 3 because it follows the love story of Netflix series fan favourites Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton).
If the series reflects the book it’s based on, we can expect to see Penelope give up her long standing crush on Colin Bridgerton and devote herself to finding a husband. When Colin returns from travels, he finds Penelope seems to have changed, and so have his feelings for her…
What book is Season 3 of Bridgerton based on?
Season 3 of Bridgerton is based on Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn. This is the fourth book in the series. The third book is An Offer From a Gentleman, which follows Benedict Bridgerton’s love story. As we seem to have skipped a book, we can only guess when we might see Benedict’s story adapted for Netflix.
Why is everyone so excited about Bridgerton Season 3?
Aside from the lead characters of the season, Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, being fan favourites, Romancing Mister Bridgerton has a particular scene that Bridgerton viewers are keen to see. Two words: carriage scene!
Do I need to read the Bridgerton book first?
While you probably don’t need to read the book first to enjoy the new season of Bridgerton, reading the book (or the whole series!) is sure to add to your experience. Books, after all, can include elements that simply can’t make it into an adaptation.
