NOTE: The winner of the Accidentally Wes Anderson competition has been drawn.

We all know and adore the films of Wes Anderson – The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr Fox, Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel … we could go on. With their stunning cinematography and unforgettable characters, it’s no wonder that these films are so beloved.

(We all have a Wes Anderson lover in our life, and if you don’t then it’s you.)

To nobody’s surprise, the striking aesthetic of Anderson’s films has been wholeheartedly embraced by the Instagram generation, culminating in the existence of @accidentallywesanderson, an account with over 1.2 million followers that posts snapshots of Anderson-esque whimsy found in real life all over the world. Wally Koval, the account’s creator, is now releasing a book called Accidentally Wes Anderson that features the best pictures from the account, along with the stories behind them.
