Amy in Romancelandia

Hello everyone and welcome back to Romancelandia! The land of first kisses, second chances and even some ménage à trois action if that’s your thing. Hey, we’re a broad church here – there is something for everyone. And zero judgement!

October is upon us and, in case you weren’t keeping count, its now only 73 days until Christmas. Yikes – in a year that has already felt 2,392 days long, this last bit sure has sped by! Before too long there will be a plethora of snowy covers out there with cutesy Christmas titles but, considering it’s heating up in most parts of Australia, let’s hold back that tide for a little while longer and see what this month has to offer. So, go grab a nice cold Pimms and lemonade from the pitcher over there by the loveseat and have your clicking finger at the ready!

Don’t forget, all of this month’s books are available via Booktopia in either print or digital, so just click on the covers if something takes your fancy!

Amy’s Favourite of the Month!

As an extra treat each month, I recommend one of my fave reads/authors to you. This month I’m recommending Insecure by Ainslie Paton. Now, as always with my fave authors, it’s almost impossible to recommend just one and that goes double for Ainslie. Lucky for everyone she has a nice little backlist which you can check out here.

Ainslie is a Sydney author with a truly distinctive style. She has an amazing way with words, such a beautifully artistic turn of phrase that’s almost poetic. Words that shouldn’t normally work together somehow just do under her penmanship. She also writes really great women and very swoony men.

They had one hot night written all over them, except the city conspired to turn that night into a weekend of unexpected passion and deep connection.

Will love be enough when Jacinta’s star falls and Mace’s dream takes flight, or will ambition, expectation and insecurity pull them apart?
