If the books being published over the next few months are anything to go by, 2020 will be kicking off an incredibly exciting new decade of reading! Today, I thought I’d celebrate that wonderful fact and highlight a few books that should be on your radar, with the help of our trusty category managers Ben, Sarah, Shanu and Joel.
Deciding on a ‘Most Anticipated’ list is always tricky, and we’ve had to be ruthless (if I were to list absolutely every amazing book coming in 2020, this post would be longer than Wolf Hall). Rest assured that you’ll find books by heavy hitters like Hilary Mantel, Trent Dalton, Anh Do and Cassandra Clare, plus a couple of books that I’ve been lucky enough to read early and have absolutely loved (see: debut novels by Naoise Dolan and Kiley Reid).
The best part is that these books are only the ones we know about – there could be a brand new Jane Harper novel around the corner, yet to be announced!
So grab yourself a cup of tea and read on for our most anticipated books of 2020!
