Best of 2017 Romance.

Romance is an ever popular and always evolving category, not to mention an incredibly competitive arena for its many authors. Our book experts have poured over this year’s releases to bring you this shortlist of seven titles with one lucky winner.

Our list brings together international heavyweights Marian Keyes (The Break) and Penny Vincenzi (A Question of Trust) with local romance powerhouses Fiona McIntosh (The Tea Gardens) and Fleur McDonald (Suddenly One Summer). And we couldn’t leave out that wildly popular prolific author of steamy stories, Helen Hardt (Shattered), whose Steel Brothers Saga has sold thousands of copies through our humble website.

There was one standout that truly captured our hearts that we had to make this year’s winner. It’s a book full of the soul-healing essence of travel that offers up the kind of profound and unique partnership only mature couples achieve. The book comes from a local husband and wife team whose books are adored the world over.

The Camino changes you, it’s said. It’s a chance to find a new version of yourself. But can these two very different people find each other?

In this smart, funny and romantic journey, Martin’s and Zoe’s stories are told in alternating chapters by husband-and-wife team Graeme Simsion and Anne Buist… Learn more.
