Best of 2017: Crime & Thriller Books

Crime fiction has dominated our fiction bestsellers right across the year with new releases from The Dry author Jane Harper, Michael Robotham, Paula Hawkins, Michael Connelly, and more dominating the shelves.

It’s the new Australian crime that’s been the most exciting, with Mark Brandi’s Wimmera taking out the Debut Dagger Award, and Sarah Schmidt’s See What I Have Done delighting and frightening readers here and abroad.

We also couldn’t ignore David Lagercrantz, whose gripping novel, The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye, carries on the late Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series and is absolutely brilliant.
