E.L. James announces new Fifty Shades of Grey book.

E.L. James, creator of the Fifty Shades of Grey series took to social media recently with a hint at a possible new book. She wrote:


The trailer she mentions is that of Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, which is set for release on 14 September 2017 in Australia. In this next chapter, a wounded Christian Grey tries to entice a cautious Ana Steele back into his life; she demands a new ‘arrangement’ before she will give him another chance. 

As the two begin to build trust and find stability, shadowy figures from Christian’s past start to circle the couple, determined to destroy their hopes for a future together.

But back to the latest book news…

The new book is a follow-up to Grey, and will mirror the plot of Fifty Shades Darker, book 2 in the series. When James posted on social media, she attached a snippet of this forthcoming book:


She posted this snippet and news on September 10 –  in honour of Anastasia Steele’s 27th birthday, which also happens to be on this day.
