Australia’s Favourite Author – The Final Vote

Favourite Australian AuthorWe’ve finally arrived! After all your nominations and voting, we now have the final list of Australia’s Favourite Authors for you to vote on!

You can vote for as many authors as you like, so make sure you look carefully through the list. This poll is open all week, so tell your family and friends to cast their vote as well!

At midday on Monday the 19th of January we’ll begin to unveil the Top 50, with Australia’s Favourite Author to be announced on Friday the 23rd of January!

    As much as I’m happy to see female authors like Trudi and Traci, who are brilliant, I would’ve loved to see Sean Williams on the list.

    Was Glenda Larke or Tansy Rayner Roberts on any of the previous lists? I voted each round but don’t think they ever showed up 🙁 How are atuhors initially selected?

      Have to agree with Kevin Fraser, Tony Park writes fantastic stories, Not a boring second in any of his books, Keeps you on your toes from the first line to the very last word.

    I didn’t see any poll asking for suggestions..just this…already done.. no Arthur Upfield (creator of Bony)?? Pretty much just contemporary authors..except for ones like Banjo Patterson..but otherwise..all authors from the current period..who actually voted for these names to be included? As I said, saw/heard nothing about nominating an author.

    Terrible when you have to choose, I love Nicole Alexander and Di Morrisey, Have given the newer author Nicole Alexander my vote. Read 3 of her books in 2 weeks, had trouble putting the book down…. wanted to keep on reading even tho it was 3am and an alarm set for 5am.. Good luck Nicole.
