NEWS: Angelina Jolie’s new film ‘Unbroken’ to première in Sydney tonight!

Tonight Angelina Jolie will première her latest movie Unbroken (based on the book by Laura Hillenbrand) which she directed and filmed across New South Wales & Queensland last year.

Talking about the WWII drama Jolie said that she she feels Zamperini’s inspirational story offers a bright light of hope for an often-troubled time. “(The world) can seem hopeless and it can seem very overwhelming,” she said. “But the resilience and the strength of the human spirit is an extraordinary thing.” (Read more at Today).

HarperCollins, publisher of Unbroken, is expected to see a rise in sales for the book after the release of the movie.

Unbroken will première at the State Theatre in Sydney. Angelina Jolie will be joined on the red carpet by husband Brad Pitt, who arrived in Sydney last night, and other local celebrities.
