Fantastic and Very Real

This book is a depiction of every day life as a mother and as a kid. It deserves to be read by everyone because it is just so real and relatable that you can't help but laugh at the small fights between a mother and daughter. We've all experienced that in the car on the way to school

I will read more books by this author

Very easy read.

Great read

This was a great read that I really enjoyed. The characters were developed nicely and the plot had enough twists to keep me interested an surprised. Loved that it was Australian, too.

Good holiday read

Nicely written, the characters are believable, even though it is hard keeping track of so many characters.

A bit disappointing

I thought this book would be much better than it was. While the beginning of the story was quite good and the characters engaging, the ending was boring, cliched and completely unrealistic. As if life is ever wrapped up like that in a nice little package, and it is especially disappointing because one of the great things about Liane Moriarty's books is supposed to be their relatability. I feel like the author lacked the courage to give the book a real and honest finish.

Slightly Disappointed

I thought the beginning of this book was quite good and the characters interesting however I found the middle slow but it was the ending that really disappointed me because it was so unrealistic. In real life things never would be tied up in a nice little package like that where it all worked out for everyone and I think anyone who had ever found themselves in any of those situations would be left feeling rather bitter after reading the ending. The reason I liked other books by this author was because they were so relatable but this one definitely was not, if I wanted a happily ever after I would have read a fairy tale.

One of my best reads for a while!

I loved this book and couldn't wait for my friends and family to read it as well!!

Thoroughly recommended reading and a good one for book discu

A clever story that very accurately captures group dynamics and personalities in an entertaining way and at the same time addresses current serious social issues. A real page turner.
