Chapter on tools is great because it shows tools used on a variety of systems, so when students move on to engine repair, brakes, etc. they have been exposed to the equipment already.
I found this book to be very well written and up to date. I like how the author laid the book out from beginning to end, good basic explanation of the topics, and I like the way each chapter was laid out from beginning to end to explain each system of the car.
The series is well balanced and goes into great detail about the subject matter it covers. Instructor resources are well rounded.
