About the Author

Trevor Hawkins is recognised as one of Australia’s foremost angling artists and illustrators. Although noted for his trout paintings, his work also features the plants, insects and other animals that inhabit the natural environment where trout and other fish are found. Fishing, particularly fly-fishing and the lure of the countryside have been a constant in his life for as far back as he can remember.

For over twenty years he owned and operated a successful printing company in Melbourne, Australia. During his time he also successfully exhibited his landscapes and abstracts in a number of commercial galleries.
