They’re back! A selection of your favourite titles from the bestselling Aussie Nibbles series, returning by popular demand with a fresh new look as Puffin Nibbles.

Becky has reached the point in her swimming lessons when she has stopped being a Frog and has moved up to be a Platypus. She has to go into the deep end, and she's not at all sure that she's ready for it. She wishes she could be a Frog for just a little while longer.

About the Author

Ursula Dubosarsky is widely regarded as one of the most talented and original writers in Australia today. She is the author of over 40 books for children and young adults, which have won a number of national prizes, including the NSW, Victorian, South Australian and Queensland Premier's Literary Awards.

Alongside her fiction for older children, Ursula has a wonderful talent for picture books such as the highly popular The Terrible Plop and Too Many Elephants in This House, which have both been adapted as successful stage productions. She has also written the non-fiction Word Spy books about the English language, both of which also won major national awards.

Ursula has a PhD in English literature from Macquarie University and lives in Sydney with her family.

About the Illustrator

Mitch Vane has had a long career working as an illustrator and artist. She is interested in all forms of visual story-telling using a variety of mediums but is at her happiest drawing with a good old-fashioned dip pen and Indian ink.
Mitch often collaborates with her partner Danny Katz – her cartoons appeared with his weekly humour column in The Age - and they have created many children's books together, including Aussie Bites - The Parents are Revolting and Big Bad Bunnies.
