The Adobe Dreamweaver CS6: Classroom in a Book from the Adobe Creative Team includes 15 project-based lessons that show students step by step everything they need to know to work in Dreamweaver CS6. They’ll learn to create a professional website without having to write code by hand.

This completely revised CS6 edition also covers HTML5, CSS3, and media queries for responsive web design. The book also shows how to create HTML-based headings, paragraphs, lists, and tables; insert graphics and Photoshop Smart Objects; add links to text and images; apply cascading styles sheets; and customize the Dreamweaver workspace. Students will also learn to add interactive elements to their sites, such as HTML5-compatible video and animation, get guidance for working with code, and finally publish a finished site to the Web.

The companion DVD includes all lesson files so they can work along with the book, as well as, two hours of free video tutorials from Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 Learn by Video.

Instructor Notes for this title will be available soon on the Pearson Higher Education site.

This book is well written. I really do enjoy the 'Adobe Classroom in a Book' series. Simple to follow instructions and the activities actually turn out the way the book intended. The only problem I had was the screen shots they provided were sometimes from a Window's based machine and then sometimes from a iOS (Mac) based machine which some times I had to improvise. Other than that it started at the basic's and worked up to the challenging activities. It was a great re-fresher for me, but would be also great for beginners.
