The phenomenal Number One bestseller about best friends James and Bob.

When James Bowen found an injured, ginger street cat curled up in the hallway of his sheltered accommodation, he had no idea just how much his life was about to change. James was living hand to mouth on the streets of London and the last thing he needed was a pet.

Yet James couldn't resist helping the strikingly intelligent tom cat, whom he quickly christened Bob. He slowly nursed Bob back to health and then sent the cat on his way, imagining he would never see him again. But Bob had other ideas.

Soon the two were inseparable and their diverse, comic and occasionally dangerous adventures would transform both their lives, slowly healing the scars of each other's troubled pasts.

A Street Cat Named Bob is a moving and uplifting story that will touch the heart of anyone who reads it.

Comments about A Street Cat Named Bob:

By request bought this as a birthday gift for my 70 year old mother. She had seen the movie and wanted to read the book and also the follow up book. In her own words it is "much better than the movie" and she loves the books.

Comments about A Street Cat Named Bob:

I loved this story - very easy to read so it didn't take me long to get through it.
The best part was that when I had finished reading it, I was on a tram in Melbourne and a couple came on board with a ginger cat who looked just like Bob!!
They were surrounded by people patting the cat etc. and just made me think back to the book.

Comments about A Street Cat Named Bob:

Loved this story! I am a real animal lover and I liked reading this. This book made me have a different outlook on how the homeless live and how hard it is. Bob is such a beautiful, clever cat. I found the whole book a great read, there was always something happening.
