Volunteering his services as a pilot to fly renowned international peace advocate Egon Kisch between Fremantle and Melbourne, Rowland is unaware how hard Australia's new attorney-general will fight to keep the raging reporter off Australian soil.

In this, it seems, the government is not alone, as clandestine right-wing militias reconstitute into deadly strike forces. A disgraced minister, an unidentified corpse and an old flame all bring their own special bedlam.

Once again Rowland Sinclair stands against the unthinkable, with an artist, a poet and a brazen sculptress by his side.

Sulari Gentill

About the Author

Sulari Gentill set out to study astrophysics, ended up graduating in law, and later abandoned her legal career to write books instead of contracts. She grows French black truffles on her farm in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains of NSW, which she shares with her husband Michael, their young family and several animals - the farm, not the truffles.

Gentill was announced the winner of the 2012 Davitt Award for Best Crime Fiction, and was shortlisted for a 2011 Commonwealth Writers' Prize for best first book in the South East Asia and Pacific region. Under the name Sulari Gentill, S.D.

Gentill also writes the Rowland Sinclair series; a series of historical crime fiction novels including A Few Right Thinking Men, A Decline in Prophets, Miles off Course, Paving the New Road and Gentlemen Formerly Dressed.
