Mindfulness is considered the heart of Buddhist meditation. But its essence is universal and of deep practical benefit to everyone. In Wherever You Go, There You Are, Jon Kabat-Zinn maps out a simple path for cultivating mindfulness in our lives, and awakening us to the unique beauty and possibilities of each present moment. Since its first publication in 1994 (as Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners), this book has changed lived across the globe. This tenth anniversary edition of the original classic text, featuring a new afterword by the author, brings this wonderful book with an even larger audience.

Comments about Wherever You Go, There You are:
This book is a thorough discussion of the essence of Buddhist mindfulness meditation, with much valuable advice on how to practise. It is a first-class manual for beginners, but it is also written for experienced practitioners who wish to deepen their knowledge. Although fully in accord with Buddhist tradition, the book is written for readers in the Western world who may not be interested in Buddhism as such, but wish to enjoy the benefits of mindfulness meditation. It is written in a clear, easy style. The chapters are very short, each dealing with a single topic. This makes the book ideal for someone who wishes to read a chapter, and then reflect, before continuing to the next chapter.
This book shines with an exquisite simplicity and straightforwardness. Jon Kabat-Zinn is one of the best teachers of mindfulness you will ever meet - Jack Kornfield, Buddhist teacher and author
