From 24th-30th September tens of thousands of pictures were submitted to the UK at Home website and since then a team of leading picture editors from some of the UK leading publications have been choosing the very best of both the professional and amateur shots to appear in the book. Also included are essays on UK home-life for each chapter of the book by some of our greatest novelists, essayists and historians.
With over 224 pages of houses, flats, families, possessions, pets, events and atmosphere this is a book that will not only hold up a mirror to the way we live now but offer vivid memories to look back on in later years.
