About The Author

Eugenia Bell is a London-based freelance writer and editor of books on art, architecture, design, and travel. She has written for Artforum, ID, Interiors, and Lingua Franca. Born in New York, her family is from Turin, where she and her husband regularly spend time. Phil Nicholls was born in Cornwall. His photography book, Classic Cafes is a study of London's "greasy spoon" cafe culture. His photographs appear in The Little Bookroom's The Traditional Shops and Restaurants of London by Eugenia Bell.
