Gave it to my brother who just moved out. Nothing too intimidating for a new starter as a cook so it suited him well

    Comments about The Starter Kitchen:

I'm not sure about this book. There's some great really basic stuff, like what to keep in the pantry & basic required equipment, & some good starter recipes, but ... there's something missing. I don't think you'd really learn to cook from this, if this was the first cook book you ever bought, and I didn't find many of the recipes very inspirational. But since I bought it on sale, I feel I got my money's worth.
