I found Baby Love really useful as a new mum, and now that my baby has become a toddler, I am finding The Mighty Toddler just as helpful. It's easy to navigate to relevant chapters and so far has provided advice on everything I have wanted to know!

          Comments about The Mighty Toddler:

We bought The Mighty Toddler as a follow on from Baby Love when our son was around 18mths old. We really like Robin Barker's style. To us she seems to normalise most things, which we find comforting.

This book is a great reference for the toddler years. Robin says not to read it cover-to-cover but rather to use it as a reference or guide but I actually did read it all at once. It is interesting and entertaining as well as relevant, comforting and useful. Since then we've referred to it for this and that, as we did with Baby Love.

If you have friends with a soon-to-be toddler and are looking for a gift for them this is a great option.
