Sonia St. Claire was registered by her mother as a ward of the state and survived the first fourteen years of her life in five different orphanages and children's homes around Sydney, Australia. She was effectively sentenced to a life of hardship, abuse and loneliness.
Striking out on her own, Sonia married and had children oblivious to the spectre that was shadowing her life and marriage which ended in divorce. When the unremitting fury, of Rheumatoid Arthritis was finally unleashed on her body. She reversed the ravages of rheumatoid arthritis through sheer determination, diet and the will to survive.
