        This book has given me a lot of new recipes and recipe ideas to use on "fast" days, which had been becoming a bit tedious. The British-specific ingredients (eg kippers, haddock, and brand-name products) are easily replaced with local equivalents. I would recommend this book to anyone following or considering trying the 5:2 diet.

            This recipe book is attractively laid out with clear instructions how to use the system. Each recipe has its calorie count clearly marked, a small introduction and a titbit about the health properties of one of the ingredients.

            The chapters are logical and the Meal Planner is a great sample for you to create your own. In the main the meals are simple and delicious although there are a few 'exotic' recipes some may find ingredients hard (or expensive) to obtain.

              I found the Fast Diet book was excellent. Loosing weight was easier when used in conjunction with Fast Recipe book. There are plenty of delicious recipes to choose from making fasting days easier. I found the soups were more fulfilling for the evening meal.
              Fast Exercise is still a work in progress, but going well.

                            The 5day-eat-2day fast diet really works and the recipe book offers easy and tempting meals with the calorie count shown. The recipes are simple, with coloured photos, and offers choices for each meal whilst sticking to the number of calories permitted on fast days. The notes on nutrition are excellent too.
