Spoiler Alert: The sentences/chapters are split towards the end of the book – I just want to reassure you that this is NOT a printing error; they are supposed to be like this as the affected sentences are part of ‘dream sequences’.

The FINAL shocking, heart-wrenching book in the jaw-droppingly stupendous Skulduggery Pleasant series. Valkerie. Darquesse. Stephanie. The world ain't big enough for the three of them. The end will come...

The War of the Sanctuaries has been won, but it was not without its casualties. Following the loss of Valkyrie Cain, Skulduggery Pleasant must use any and all means to track down and stop Darquesse before she turns the world into a charred, lifeless cinder. And so he draws together a team of soldiers, monster hunters, killers, criminals...and Valkyrie's own murderous reflection. The war may be over, but the final battle is about to begin. And not everyone gets out of here alive...

Comments about The Dying of the Light:

One of the best endings to a series I have ever read. Although it could have been better, and there are some sad character deaths, I don't believe it could have ended better. I have enjoyed all the books in this series and i think that each one just contioues to exceed the last.

Comments about The Dying of the Light:

Been a massive Skulduggery Pleasant fan for years and the year wait for this book was torture. Little did I know that this book was its own sick form of torture that ruined the entire series for me. Not one good thing to say about this book other than absolute trash.
