About The Author
Fiona is a registered nurse/practising clinical nurse specialist in
midwifery and has 25 years experience as a midwife. She is one of the
founders of, and a midwife educator for, TIMTAMS ('Teenage Information
Mornings Teens as Mums). She is a lecturer and trainer, and an
instructor for Advance Life Support Obstetrics (ALSO), a not-for-profit
organisation dedicated to improving maternal health outcomes in the
Asia-Pacific region.
Fiona is also a published author for Harlequin Mills and Boon; she
has written 20 medical romance novels over the last 10 years. (Her most
recent publication is
Pregnant Midwife – Father Needed.)
She was a 2009 finalist in the Romance Writers of Australia's
R*BY (Romantic Book of the Year) Awards.
Fiona has been married for 29 years to a country ambulance officer;
they have five sons.
