I bought the 39story tree house for my grandson in Kununurra who does not like reading much. When he told me he received the book and was already on page 50, I have now ordered the other two books the 13 story and the 59 story tree house.
These books make him keen to read, and i grandma like the drawings very much.

This book engaged my 7 year old grandson, reading thru school holidays, in a big way. He asked for the whole series. The balance of text and illustrations are very good for readers who need something extra to stimulate their reading. The illustrations invite colouring-in by the reader, an useful extra activity.
I'd like to see a wider vocabulary, for readers to stimulate their learning, however, the current level is current boy language and is part of the appeal.

I don't know what to say about this one, it's brilliantly brilliant. I love the ideas these two authors come up and they such a breath of fresh air for reluctant readers.

            Comments about The 39-Storey Treehouse:

I gave this book to my 11 yr-old nephew for Christmas - he said I chose so well, as he had the first two books in this series and didn't have the third (until he got another copy of the book from his mum for Christmas!)
I wouldn't have known it was such a suitable book for him if it weren't for the positive reviews. So, thanks!
