Floyd gets his kite stuck up a tree. He throws up his shoe to shift it, but that gets stuck too. So he throws up his other shoe and that got stuck, along with... a ladder, a pot of paint, the kitchen sink, an orang-utan and a whale, amongst other things!

Will Floyd ever get his kite back?

A hilarious book with a wonderful surprise ending.

About the Author

I have read and re-read this book with the kids and it never gets dull. Like all Oliver Jeffers books, this is a cracker. Funny and quirky.

A hilarious book! A wonderful book to share for both parents and children! Hand written text so more suited to a parent reading (as apposed to a beginner reading to self). Has already become a favourite in our house! Loved the off beat humour!
