Comments about Storey's Guide to Raising Beef Cattle:
The only downfall is the "storey" series of books are written for the American market, so considerable adjustment needs to be made for the Australian climate, soils, markets etc.
Other than that, I find the various "Storey" books very informative and eminently readable.
