This is the true story of Kay and Kerry Danes, an Australian couple managing a security business in Laos when they are wrongly arrested and thrown into a stinking Laos prison. Accused of stealing gems from a business for which they did security work, the Laos Government held and then charged them, sentencing them to seven years' imprisonment. Daily torture was inflicted on the couple to force them to sign a confession of guilt, but they maintained their innocence. Kay Danes is an international speaker and campaigner for human rights and gives advice to families facing the trauma of injustice. Kay has spoken on human rights issues in Washington DC and all over the world.
