Nalini Singh's psy-changeling series returns with another stunning novel.

In his position as tracker for the SnowDancer pack, it's up to Drew Kincaid to rein in rogue changelings who have lost control of their animal halves - even if it means killing those who have gone too far. But nothing in his life has prepared him for the battle he must now wage to win the heart of a woman who makes his body ignite...and who threatens to enslave his wolf.

Lieutenant Indigo Riviere doesn't easily allow skin privileges, especially of the sensual kind - and the last person she expects to find herself craving is the most wickedly playful male in the den. Everything she knows tells her to pull back before the flames burn them both to ash, but she hasn't counted on Drew's will.

Now, two of SnowDancer's most stubborn wolves find themselves playing a hot, sexy game even as lethal danger stalks the very place they call home...

About The Author

Nalini Singh was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. She spent three years living and working in Japan and travelling around Asia before returning to New Zealand where she lives, although she's always plotting new trips. She has worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher, not necessarily in that order. Some people might call that inconsistency, but she calls it grist for the writer's mill.

      Nalini Singh

      Nalini, in her own words...

I was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. I also spent three years living and working in Japan, during which time I took the chance to travel around Asia. I’m back in New Zealand now, but I’m always plotting new trips. If you’d like to see some of my travel snapshots, have a look at the Travel Diary page (updated every month).

So far, I've worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher and not necessarily in that order. Some might call that inconsistency but I call it grist for the writer's mill.

      On Writing Romance

I've been writing as long as I can remember and all of my stories always held a thread of romance (even when I was writing about a prince who could shoot lasers out of his eyes). I love creating unique characters, love giving them happy endings and I even love the voices in my head. There's no other job I would rather be doing.

In September 2002, when I got the call that Silhouette Desire wanted to buy my first book, Desert Warrior, it was a dream come true. I hope to continue living the dream until I keel over of old age on my keyboard.

Some of the books I love:

      Rememberance by Jude Deveraux
The Heralds of Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey
The Pern books by Anne McCaffrey
Queen of the Darkness by Anne Bishop
      Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
      Othello by William Shakespeare
The In Death books by JD Robb
      Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon
      Simple Jess by Pamela Morsi
Orchid, Amaryllis, Zinnia by Jayne Castle
      Lady Love by Diana Palmer
      Loving Evangeline by Linda Howard
      Demon Moon by Meljean Brook
      Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews
The Time is Short by Nerina Hilliard
