Stella only wanted a holiday… the last thing she expected was a love interest and a possible ghost.

Third-generation farmer Adam Burton has always tried to keep his family together, but twenty years after his little sister went missing from the family farm he’s losing hope. His dad has walked out, his mum is as reclusive as ever and he still blames himself for his sister’s disappearance.

When Stella Reynolds and her young daughter arrive from the big smoke to stay at the holiday cottage on their farm for the summer, Adam is immediately attracted to the beautiful single mum. Although he’s always steered clear of children and doesn’t believe he deserves love or a family of his own, he finds himself spending time with Stella and her young daughter, Heidi, and enjoying it.

As the twenty-year old mystery begins to unravel, Stella wonders if she should take her daughter and run. But doing so is easier said than done, because Stella just might be falling in love with Bunyip Bay and a gorgeous, but hurting, farmer.

From one of Australia’s best loved rural romance authors comes a story of mystery, heartache and hope.

    Comments about Outback Ghost:

Rachael John's stories are outstanding, so well written and with such believable, well rounded, every day characters. I love how she adds just a little bit of everything into each of her stories, intrigue, drama, tragedy, humor and love of course. Outback Ghost is no exception. I cant wait for her next title.

        Comments about Outback Ghost:

The characters are described very deeply so this makes you can instantly picture in your mind how they look. This book is a beautiful read but you wouldn't expect anything less from a Rachael Johns book. Her series just keeps getting better and it's lovely to recap the characters from her previous books. Can't wait for the next one!!!

            Comments about Outback Ghost:

Couldn't wait to find out what would happen with the characters. Such a great series. One that I would read over and over again. More books of this nature by the author would be great.

                  Rachael Johns

Rachael Johns is an English teacher by trade, a supermarket owner by day, a mum 24/7, and a writer by night. She lives in rural Western Australia with her hyperactive husband and three mostly-gorgeous heroes-in-training.

At 17 she began writing, enlightened by the thought that she could create whatever ending she liked, and almost a decade later, after many, many attempts at writing different types of novels, she joined the Romance Writers of Australia association.

It was there that Rachael learnt there was more to writing a book than just typing out random thoughts. She learnt about the craft, conflict, consistent characters, etc, and also discovered that she LOVED contemporary romance.
