The Outback is quintessential Australia. Vast in proportion, it is that harsh inland region where few Australians choose to live but from which many draw a sense of national identity. It remains a frontier land, magnificent in its scope, yet as mysterious as the forces that have shaped it. Captured here through the lens of leading landscape photographer Ken Duncan, Australia's Outback glows with wonderful colour and light - its deserts and rockforms, its waterways and its people. The result is a spectacular gallery in compact form, a collection of Outback images that will inspire at every turn of the page.
